This presentation will focus on what it means to be a funded student/child in the Alberta Education system. We will review relevant legislation and regulations, with a focus on documentation requirements for registration, citizenship, and residency. We will look at attendance requirements and reporting for an enrolment verification to ensure students meet September count date requirements, and supporting documentation needed for codes like EAL, refugee, and home education.
